Griffin was created just 4 months into our marriage, oooooop's. We were a little freaked out and VERY surprised at first but as my pregnancy went along we both got really excited! I had a great pregnancy, no problems what so ever. I actually really enjoyed being pregnant and I cannot wait to do it again! Kason and I decided not to find out the sex, which was really hard! It wasn't hard until the very end because we were both in suspense and dying to know what we were having! I wanted a boy soooo badly but I didn't want to preoccupy my brain with boy stuff so toward the end of my pregnancy I had to force myself to go and look at girl stuff just to get my mind away from wanting a boy. I have always wanted a boy first. So, the time finally came. I went to one of my last doctor appointments a couple of days before my due date. I was getting uncomfortable and the doctor ending up finding some protein and my blood pressure was higher than normal. He said, 'You ready to have a baby'? And I was like, 'Ya tomorrow or something'? He shook his head and told me to head to hospital now. I was so excited to hear that!! I called everyone and then ran home to meet Kason and grab my bag. Kason and his Uncle Curtis gave me a blessing and off we went! After a horribly long induction (22 hours of labor!) and 3 hours of pushing, Griffin finally arrived! He weighed 8 pounds 5 ounces and he was limp and didn't cry. He was okay but he was traumatized and exhausted! I was too. I started falling asleep the minute he came out! To sum it all up, he has been the BEST baby I could ever ask for. I feel so lucky to have him and I am so thankful that he is healthy and happy. He is such a good boy, he never cries, he sleeps through the night and he has the most content way about him. He is tricking me into wanting to have another baby because motherhood has been piece of cake so far!
