maggie is definitely headed toward the terrible two's!
most of the time she really is a good girl though
we are struggling with her ears still and are in the middle of trying to decide whether to take her ear tubes out
she talks but she isn't a real chatterbox or anything
her favorite word is wiener and she says it over and over again because she knows it makes the boy's laugh...I guess I laugh too, oh well
her favorite phrases are "STOP! Boy's!", "Otay, I'm tumin", "Mema's hoooooouse!", "I do it", "Nigh- Nighk", "Mine!!!" or "me! me! me!" when she is really upset
she also let's me know that she is "itchy, back here" because she is getting more eczema on the back of her knees and neck, poor kid
she eats terrible (teething? ears?) and she wants to drink allllllllll day long
still wakes almost every night along with Nolan, fun stuff (teething? ears?)
thank heavens I am not a month away from having another baby, holy moly
maggie is more naughty and mischievous than the boys were!
she majorly gets into stuff and if she gets her hands on any markers, it's everywhere
she runs from me (which the boy's never did)
basically she does all of the active "boy" stuff that Griffin and Nolan do but with a touch of naughty
I want to potty train her this summer and crossing my fingers that she is trained by 2 like the boy's were but she DOES NOT care if she has a poopy diaper, at all...that worries me!
she always follows a kiss with a hug or vice versa....she says "hugs, tiss" or "tiss, hugs"
maggie is as sweet as pie and sometimes we go crazy just looking at her and watching her because having a girl is SO different for us, but we love it
she's pretty girly but won't wear bows (unless she is just playing) and will only wear crocs grrrr
it's a fight every sunday to keep a bow on and fight her on wearing crocs to church
still a TV girl

Pre K grad
Sadly, Griff graduated from Pre K and now I am going bananas trying to keep him busy and entertained
He NEEDS school. Period. He is beyond ready for Kinder.
I am not too worried about him going (except for the horrible orientation that I went to at his school, I would love to open that can of worms, but can't)
Secretly I am ready for him to go and ready to start this new season of life!
His graduation was darling, of course. We all had a blast!

Ironman St George
we LOVE living in downtown St G when they have events like the marathon and the Ironman (heck, I love watching the senior games as well) because we walk a few blocks up the street to Diagonal and plop ourselves under a bunch of lush trees and we watch and watch and watch.
this year, our good friend Kim did her first Ironman so we spent a lot of time at the corner of 500 and Diagonal waiting for her and getting text updates from her hubby.
we all sat there and watched for about 3 hours and even had some lunch right there on the side of the road
Amazing Kim who finished in 7 hours

running
I decided to get the boy's into running and lucky for me, they love it!
we are on the lookout for any and every kid race (including bikes races, which we haven't done yet)
IF Griff can learn how to swim (and swim well) this summer, I am going to let him do a kids tri in November
both boys are extremely competitive, with each other and other kids (not in a bad way though)
Nolan is a trash talker (in a cute way, if you can imagine that) and is very vocal about how he is "going to beat you and win the whole race"
Griffin is very silent about it but deep inside the kid wants to win and will make sure he doesn't stop or give up
they could not be more different and I LOVE it
their first race was a 1k and both boys did really well
Griff was up with the 10 and 11 year old kids and Nolan was with the 8 and 9 year olds at the end of the race, it was wild!
the next race was the Ironman kids race and it was a blast!
Nolan did the 200 meter (he was upset about not doing the mile with Griffin and he told me that I should have let him because he would have got 4th or 5th place, mind you, there were a million kids in this race and they were bigger kids haha)
Griffin ran and ran the whole way and did very well!

zion
had a fun little weekend getaway to Zion with my sister, her fiancé and Sadie
we hiked all three emerald pools and the boys blew our minds by hiking/running the entire way
we really could not believe it!
the boys have major endurance, it's mind blowing
we also ate some GOOD food and did some swimming

Easter
Easter Morning!
the kids got new towels, a blow up pool and some other goodies
The hunt at Mema and Pepa's
my pretty Easter girl!
The hunt at Mema and Pepa's
ketchup
kindergarten testing for Griff (is this really happening??)
but I assure you, him and I are both ready for this ;)
this girl is just like her brothers at this age, we ride all day, everyday
my little TV fanatics
when this girl colors, she colors her whole body and my whole house (first of my kids to ever do this)
we all love Lowes and Home Depot trips with Daddy, this time we were looking at flowers that Mema might like (look at Nolan's eyes peeking through ahh!)
this kid crafts from sun up til sundown, NO joke
little miss mess maker in action
