Dear Griffin Boy-
That is the nickname that your Dad and I came up with and boy does it fit you! You are such a BOY. You love the outdoors, animals, 4 wheelers, dirt, mud and anything boyish! Today was your first birthday and you had so much fun! You had people at your birthday party that love you so much. Grandma Jones flew in from Arizona and her and I frantically cooked and baked to make your first birthday the greatest! We made a homemade banner with colorful fabric and a banner made out of felt that spelled out your name. We baked white cupcakes from scratch and had every color of icing you could imagine. Your had a lot of your "little" friends here that played with you and helped you open all of your presents. You LOVED the wrapping paper and plastic. You got so many cool toys and some really darling outfits. We played a game but you had no clue what was going on! Grandma bought you a marble bundt cake and you ate just about the whole entire thing! You were so happy and felt so loved by the people who attended your party. I know you won't remember your first birthday but it was so much fun and you seemed so happy. Griffin, we love you so much! You have made our lives more than complete. Your Dad and I can't get enough of you! We are so happy that you are part of our little family. You truly are a blessing from our Heavenly Father and we are so thankful for you. We love you Grffin! Happy first birthday!

He's such an awesome little guy! We had a ton of fun last night. It was so fun to see everyone! Hard to believe he's ONE now!!
That was so sweet, Julie. It makes me think about my own little boy, and yes, we love them SO MUCH!!
