Griff had his one year well check up and it went pretty good! He is 22 pounds 12 ounces (52nd %) and 31 inches (85th %) I swear I thought he weighed more than that but oh well! He is just a solid, heavy boy! His head is still measuring small (always has) but we aren't too worried about it and the doc said that it is probably fine. He also detected a heart murmur :( so we are going to keep an eye on that. Otherwise Griff is doing great! He has three teeth on top and three on the bottom. He is a dare devil and a big ball of energy! He woke up this morning at 7 am and JUST went down for a nap and it is 2 pm! Ahhh, long day for Grammy and I! He is not a great napper. He just doesn't seem to need more than one nap and frankly, he stopped taking two naps a LONG time ago. This kid has his own agenda, always has and probably always will. He is NOT a schedule kind of baby. We just fly by the seat of our pants with him! It's fun though, I like it that way. He is just an independent boy! We love you Griffin!

hey girl! cute post about griffy boy. I'm surprised he only weighs 22lbs as well. I'm glad his murmur is an innocent one and nothing too serious (assuming by what you said) but i'm sure it was way scary to hear that he had that! Gotta love that he does his own thing though cuz I'm sure it's flexible for you :)

Griff and Maeve are built EXACTLY the same!!!! Maeve weighs 22 lbs and is super tall! CUTE!!!! That would be really scary to hear about a heart murmur! Poor griff! But it sounds like he'll be just fine! :)
He's so cute. I bet he and Colt would have a blast together! Someday we'll get to see you guys and let them play.
