Griffin and I just got back from a nice trip to AZ! It was beautiful there! It was 75 degrees the whole time with tons of sunshine. It was crazy to see everyone there wearing shorts and tank tops. I forgot how nice the weather is in January! I basically just relaxed and shopped..that was about it! I got a ton of maternity stuff from Shade (who was having an amazing sale!) and some longer regular shirts for when my belly starts showing up, which might be sooner this time around! I also hiked and went on walks twice a day, everyday. I hit up all of my favorite stores and restaurants so the walking and hiking was much needed :) Griffin became really good friends with the family dog Lexi who is a tiny little spoiled Yorkie. He loved exploring the huge backyard and picking oranges off the trees with Grandpa. We had a great time! Now it's back to the grind, back to work, etc. I am hoping to have lots of energy and not be too tired with this pregnancy. I am hoping work doesn't totally wear me out too, yikes. I can't believe we are expecting again. I didn't even know a September baby would be possible! We had been talking so much about not trying for a while because of the economy, not wanting another October baby...those kinds of things. I honestly didn't even know I was pregnant which is exactly how it was with Griff. This time I had been having weird ovary/abdominal pain so I had made an appointment in Arizona with a specialist to check up on things. I had a huge ovarian cyst while I was pregnant with Griffin and I was afraid something was going on with my ovaries. I was actually kind of nervous for the appointment! So, needless to say I was 2 days late so I figured I should take a test to rule out pregnancy and there it was! I had been late a couple months before so this was just a routine thing. We are super excited about this baby and we are in the midst of trying to decide if we want to find out the sex but we probably won't. It would ruin it for me....there are few surprises in life :) Anyway, we are glad to be back and I know Griff can't wait to see everyone, especially Grammy!
