Nolan's "allergic reaction" turned out to be periorbital cellulitus

 

we tried one antibiotic and that didn't work, then we moved on to some shots and another oral antibiotic

 

so far, so good but we will see

i have thoroughly enjoyed my "Nolan time" while Griff has been in school

Magz naps and we play Wii, read books and do school stuff

the kid is smart as a whip!

i haven't worked with him nearly enough but he has caught on to so many things on his own

he's the kind of kid that remembers what you teach him, even if it was only taught one time

there is no going back or having to repeat things

Magz has just gotten into coloring and she will do it forever

 

she uses her stroller as a double

she also loves to feed herself

she is now a Nursery girl at church

it's going okay

i have realized that she is a bit of a Momma's girl

Griff NEEDS one on one, with anyone who will give it to him

 

he started telling me he didn't like preschool and didn't want to go anymore

 

also, right before i signed him up for karate, he backed out saying he wasn't that into it

 

so i felt like we needed a night out to chat and that's just what we did!

 

we set a few goals and talked very specifically about his worries

i have finally committed to a gym and i am loving the freedom it is giving me

i have only been going for a week and i already feel better about life

i miss the old "fit me" who never missed a work out

hopefully i can find my old self under this Mom body of mine
