Maggie as a 2 year old

Literally a week before this girlfriend turned two, she became one sassy girl!

I actually started getting scared because girl territory is very new to me.

She screams, throws fits, tells me NO and stomps her feet.

She has had the occasionally crazy meltdown where I had no idea what to do but laugh!

She is also super sweet and soft and loving

We love this girl!!

I love that I can do her hair so many ways! so fun

I just had to flat iron it one day because sometimes it makes me crazy!

the usual morning hair-do, tangles and knots galore!

she is far more destructive than the boys ever were

tried potty training right when she turned two and it was a NO GO. she is clearly not ready and NOT interested! she has no issue with poopy or wet diapers, doesn't bother her one bit!

tidits:

sings I am a child of God all day long, she knows most of the words and sings it very clearly.

sleeps OK. she wakes at night and wants a drink but goes right back to sleep.

luckily she does not get out of her bed, ever and wants nothing to do with my bed (hallelujah!).

she is QUITE the mess maker and does the naughtiest little things (stuff the boys never did).

likes her daddy but really loves and prefers her mommy.

she eats pretty good (not great). she likes drinks and snacks more than normal food.

I still give her the baby food pouches so she at least gets something normal (?).

she is strong willed and determined to get her way and also to copy every little thing her brothers do.

I have to constantly remind them of how much she copies them and not to do certain things.

she says "MA turn" for "my turn" and sounds like a little southern girl when she says it.

when she is looking for someone she say's their name followed by are you? "Mom, ARE YOU?".

she calls Griffin Rub-bub and Rubby and we all call him those names now.

she has learned to count and has gone all the way to 17 on her own.

she loves all things girly like clothes, shoes, jewelry, singing, dancing and princesses.

She can count to 17? That is impressive!

What are we going to do about these children and their tantrums. Most of the time I'm not even mad because his big meltdowns are so hilarious, but it is unnerving and draining.
