"Wants" And Stuff I Am Excited About...

I have gone through all of Griff's stuff in the past few day's and DANG, the kid has a lot of clothes. This new little boy isn't going to need a thing so YAY for that! They can even wear the same blessing outfit, how sweet is that? I will need to buy new socks, blankets, bibs and burp cloths and that's about it! I have been buying a pack of diapers every month when I have a coupon and then I find out who has them on sale. I also want to give my cloth diapers another shot since I will be home for a few months. Not being a stay at home Mom makes it really hard to keep up with cloth :) I am also going to need a functional double stroller. I already have a nice double stroller but I am starting to figure out that Griff doesn't LOVE the stroller. SO, I have researched and talked to a bunch of Mom's and I have decided on the Joovy Caboose Ultralight. THAT IS, if I can sell my single stroller and carseat AND the double stroller I bought. So, Craigslist, here I come! The Joovy will be great because Griff can stand or sit in the back. We tried it out at Babies R Us and he LOVED it. It will also fit any infant car seat in the front part and it has a nice big shade. The only other "want" that I have is a car seat canopy in the Eli print. I am stashing money here and there for the things that I am wanting :) Hopefully selling the strollers will pay for both things!

We are getting excited for this new little guy and we are pretty sure we have a name. I don't want to say it just yet because it flips me out to decide on a name this early. I am afraid I will announce it and then hate it later on. I get over things really fast! So right now, he goes by the name we picked but only in my head haha.

18 month and OB Appointment

He has to have things on his tray when he eats...

18 month stats:
38% in weight
78% in height (wahoooo!)
70% head circumference

The doctor said Griff looked great! His weight is a little low but the kid could care LESS about food. Even if I let him eat yummy junk for every meal he wouldn't be excited. Food does nothing for him! I want a kid that enjoys food! I would love to see Griff get excited about foods but oh well. He is a funny boy :) Otherwise he is doing well. His talking skills amaze me. He says so many words and says them perfectly. He surprises me everyday! He copies EVERYTHING we say. He is a lot of fun but I see his personality bordering on the terrible two's so I am getting scared! He will be 23 months when this baby is born so I am hoping all goes well!

OB appt:

Things looked good today! This little boy has had me so confused! His heartbeat has always been in the 150's and 160's but today it was a "boy" heartbeat, 145. So, in the beginning I kind of wondered if this little guy was a little girl haha. Griff was always in the 140's :) Pretty funny. I have no clue if the heartbeat thing is true but it's fun to guess and compare babies. I scheduled my next ultrasound to find out size and dates so that should be fun. I am excited to see my little guy again! I am wondering if my due date will stay the same or change. We shall see! Also, I have gained 5 pounds already which is depressing!! I didn't gain until I was further along with Griff but oh well :) I tend to indulge when I am preg's, I LOVE that part. BUT I did start out at a lower weight this time, maybe that's why ;) Haha.

Yes, Again....

I got to stare at this delicious tat for 4 hours! Yummy!

Phoenix International Raceway
Kason, Griff and I just returned from an interesting trip to AZ! We had fun but Griff was a disaster the WHOLE time we were there. He was teething so bad. The whole time we were there he barely ate a thing, fussed all day long and woke up every single night (which is VERY unlike him). We were exhausted and fed up to say the least! We did get to break away and go to Nascar which was a nice getaway, believe it or not! Yes, Nascar again! Two races in one season! Sheesh. We had a great time with my Dad and brother at the race, I think they enjoyed it! We didn't do much else while we were there. Just relaxed, shopped, ate and swam :) The weather was GORGEOUS and the pool felt so good on my expanding body haha. I swear I am going to blimp out again this time because I am having another boy, ahhhh. Oh well! That's the beauty of pregnancy I guess! Kason and got to have a little day to ourselves while we were there so we got some Pei Wei and then browsed the mall. I got some cute maternity stuff from Gap and of course got baby boy some stuff, I had to! All in all it was a pretty okay trip. It was great to see my family and watch Griff interact with them. I am headed back to AZ in 3 weeks all by myself (yay!) for my brother Daniels graduation. I don't want to leave Griffin so I am pretty anxious. I am so proud of my brother though so I need to go and support him!

Had To....

Okay so we have a lot of boy stuff, at least I am pretty sure we do! I am actually going though all of Griff's stuff soon to pinpoint exactly what we will need for this baby boy. BUT I had to go get a couple of new things for this little guy :)So, here are the outfits I found today. I LOVE Carter's stuff. It is so simple and comfy. I got both of these outfits for ten bucks so I got a pretty good deal I think :) Anyway, we are so thrilled to giving Griffin a brother. I think they will be best pals for life! We *think* we have a name but we might save it for when he is born. I don't want to get sick of the name and it's hard for me to name a five inch baby. I am just not ready for that! Oh and this will be my next purchase ;)

Another Baby Boy!!

Well there ya have it! We got what we wanted, another boy!! We went and got a 3D ultrasound today and it was pretty amazing! He was so cute and wiggly. He honestly kind of looks like Griff already. We are thrilled to have another boy for Griff to play with and be best pals with, yayy! We don't have a name but we have some ideas!! Also, right above the word "Bummy" in the second picture you can see his little winkie! Ahhhhhhh! My girl name will have to wait I guess! I have ONE girl name but no boy names :/ Eeeek.

Easter Part Two

This was an interesting weekend! We planned on going to a huge Easter egg hunt on Saturday but it was so stinking cold! We decided to brave the cold and then right before we left it starting raining, no thank you. Sunday was a terrible day! It was such a sad Easter! Kason got severe food poisoning and threw up from 6am til 6pm every 20 minutes or less. He couldn't even keep ice chips down, he was so dehydrated. So by 5pm I told him it was time for the ER. He willingly went, so I knew he wasn't well. He hates spending money on medical stuff. So Maddy came and got Griff then off we went to the ER. Kason was still throwing up until they gave him some meds to keep everything down. He went through a bunch of IV fluid while he was there, it was so sad! We got released at 9:30pm with the diagnosis of good old food poisoning, compliments of Texas Roadhouse! As we drove home from the hospital Kason was still throwing up. It was awful! So basically he was sick from 6am til 10pm with a tiny 3 hour break while we were at the ER. It was a bummer because we missed a wonderful dinner at Grammy and Grampy's. Thanks to Maddy we got a plate of food that we didn't even enjoy until today. Maybe next year will be better! Griff got a few treats in his basket as well as a toy car and lots of stickers. I think he enjoyed it no matter what!

Easter Part One

We had a "friends" Easter egg hunt this past Monday and it was so much fun! It was with a few girls from the ward that have kids Griff's age. Griff could care less about the candy and egg's all over the place, he just wanted to play with trucks and a little mini chair. He had a great time though! We were supposed to go to an Easter egg hunt this morning but it got rained out so we basically did nothing all day. It wasn't very fun! We went to the mall and Kason bought me some earrings as my Easter gift, then we had some friends from Phoenix come over for a visit. We ended the night with some Texas Roadhouse, yummmmmmy. Tomorrow we are going to Grammy and Grampy's for a nice dinner and some treats I am sure!
