This was an interesting weekend! We planned on going to a huge Easter egg hunt on Saturday but it was so stinking cold! We decided to brave the cold and then right before we left it starting raining, no thank you. Sunday was a terrible day! It was such a sad Easter! Kason got severe food poisoning and threw up from 6am til 6pm every 20 minutes or less. He couldn't even keep ice chips down, he was so dehydrated. So by 5pm I told him it was time for the ER. He willingly went, so I knew he wasn't well. He hates spending money on medical stuff. So Maddy came and got Griff then off we went to the ER. Kason was still throwing up until they gave him some meds to keep everything down. He went through a bunch of IV fluid while he was there, it was so sad! We got released at 9:30pm with the diagnosis of good old food poisoning, compliments of Texas Roadhouse! As we drove home from the hospital Kason was still throwing up. It was awful! So basically he was sick from 6am til 10pm with a tiny 3 hour break while we were at the ER. It was a bummer because we missed a wonderful dinner at Grammy and Grampy's. Thanks to Maddy we got a plate of food that we didn't even enjoy until today. Maybe next year will be better! Griff got a few treats in his basket as well as a toy car and lots of stickers. I think he enjoyed it no matter what!
