This party was so fun to plan and throw.
Like I said before, a lot of my ideas didn't really work out but I am happy with what I got!
Maggie enjoyed herself, as did everyone else.

Beaver Mt.
::Beaver Mountain 2012::
We had the best time at Beaver Mountain this year, as usual.
This year we went with my mother's in laws family which was a special treat for us!
We did a ton of riding, relaxing and chatting.
Maggie spent a lot of time riding in the Rhino and looking out the windows of the trailer. She was also mesmerized with all of the doggies that were there.
Griffin and Nolan rode their little yellow four wheeler like crazy and did a really good job sharing with the other kids. Nolan was always on the lookout for deer and elk. He told me one morning that he saw some bears steal the Rhino and take it for a long ride. LOL.
Griff wanted to throw the football and ride constantly. He never rested!
We really enjoyed ourselves this year. I still can't believe that this was Maggie's second time to Beaver (she was 6 weeks old the first time) and I can't believe I haven't even posted last year's trip! Crazy behind on this blog...
Kason and I love going to our spot by the lake to take a picture every year that we have been to Beaver. I still need to do a progression post!
We got engaged by Puffer Lake and after that our family lake pictures include a belly and then a baby and then a belly again and a baby...and so on.
Our spot by the lake is so special to us and we always enjoy reminiscing our engagement and seeing where we are now.

::maggie's first bday::
her birthday was a success with a few minor mishaps
it was crazy and fun and i loved throwing a girly party
magz was happy and totally enjoyed herself (and she scarfed her entire cupcake. ha.)
we had a few close friends and family so it was pretty low key
wish i wasn't SO lazy because the pics from my camera are so much better than these phone pics, ah well
i am a lazy beast
happy first birthday, magz! this party made me not want to throw any parties for the boy's this year ;) TOO much work, blah
and sorry to my instagram friends because you peeps have seen all of these pics already!

one year tidbits
::Maggie at one year::
-19.1 lbs (she is finally skinny-ing out!) not sure how long she is?? but she looks pretty long.
-still nurses 2-3 x a day.
-still wakes at night to nurse one time, which is ridiculous (this is going to stop REALLY soon).
-she has been breaking out in hives as i have introduced her to dairy and eggs, sure enough, after a blood test, she has an allergy to both. her levels are low so hopefully she will outgrow this eventually.
-which leads me to....i think i am going to nurse this chick forever. agh.
-she takes two or three steps at a time but she just doesn't seem ready to walk at all. it's a combination of being nervous and uncoordinated.
-she eats a lot of different foods but refuses jarred baby foods. she still eats the pouches though!
-like i said before, she is pretty fiesty. tonight in the tub she was standing and started to throw a fit and kept yelling and stomping her foot. it was HILARIOUS. again, this will NOT be funny behavior when she is older. yipes!
-she say's "uh oh" and "wow" and "woah" a lot.
-loves music of any kind. is always dancing and trying to sing.
-she pretty much refuses to say my name now that daddy has been around more. she isn' really interested in him holding her but she LOVES to call his name and tease him. she will say dad, dadda and daddy to get his attention.
-she is still a hard core momma's girl.
-she did so well at her one year photo's and i LOVED the photographer i found. you can find her here. i am dying to see the pics she took! found me a good deal that she had posted on craigslist.
will post her one year pics as soon as i get them!

one year old girl
this sweetheart is one and i really can't believe it!
some get sentimental about this but i just get so excited.
she is headed to toddlerhood and i LOVE the thought of that!
i am so excited to find out who this little girl is...
i think have somewhat of an idea:
-she is fiesty as can be
-she is really sweet and loving at times
-she hits, pulls on your clothes and scratches when she is mad...she is pretty physical!
-she is pretty daring for a girl, lots of climbing
-she refuses to wear bows (this might make me SO sad because her one year pictures are tomorrow and girlfriend needs a bow..should have slipped one on when she was crowning, and everyday since, oh well)
-she is very stubborn and refuses to be rocked (which is something that kason and I LOVE to do) we actually haven't been able to rock her since she was a newborn because she didn't have much of a choice then!
there is so much more to learn about this little girl and i absolutely cannot wait!
her hair is starting to really grow and it has some curl! ahhh! i have been waiting and waiting for curly hair.

birthday's
as maggie's first birthday approaches, i am starting to feel guilty about not ever posting about the boy's birthday's!
griffin is obsessed with halloween so he asked to have a spooky birthday party to honor his october birthday. we will be doing the same party this year, per his request. but he wants it to be spookier this time and he wants to dress scary. hmm..
then for nolan's second birthday (in September) we had a construction theme. there was some kind of cake or cupcake mishap (i cannot for the life of me remember what happened) so i sent kason out very last minute to find a construction themed cake and i was mortified with what he came back with! ha. but nolan didn't care so nothing else mattered! the party had to go on.
so excited to post about my little girlfriend's party! it's coming up WAY too fast. ahhhh.

Kasondilla
we love our daddy SO much!
we don't see him a whole heck of a lot but he sure makes up for it when he is here and we ALL ;) love it!
we made Kason a yummy breakfast, the boy's filled out questionaires about their daddy (which were hilarious) and we presented him with guns that the boy's made, a set of bbq grill tools and then took him to the shop to surprise him with a new grill.
it was a fun day and we loved celebrating our Kasondilla.
we don't see him a whole heck of a lot but he sure makes up for it when he is here and we ALL ;) love it!
