Griffin at 16 months (almost!)

I have to blog some of this stuff because I am terrible at keeping a journal! Griffin is getting so fun and saying so many words right now. We have to watch what we say because he copies us and says what we say so well. It is crazy! Today I got him to point at himself and say his name. He pointed at his chest and said "Pippy." Haha. It sounded so much like his name but it wasn't. Just seeing him try was so cute. He LOVES dogs still and is obsessed with tractors, buses and big semi/work trucks. He is such a boy and I LOVE that about him. He could spend hours on end outside or at the park. He constantly brings us our shoes and says clear as day "outside." He asks for juice, milk and yellow (yogurt). He also says "eat" and "show" when he is ready for his afternoon snack. I let him watch a little kids show in his high chair while he has his snack. He is starting to get into shows and pay attention and he mimics words he hears on TV. We took him to a cabin in Zion this weekend along with some 4 wheelers and he stood by the door constantly and said "ride, ride, ride" over and over again. He LOVES the 4 wheelers so we took him on about 10 rides while we were there. He was in heaven! He is such a loving boy and plants kisses on you when you least expect it. He misses his dad while he is working in Bryce and constantly says his name followed by "bye bye." It is kind of sad! The other morning when I went to get him up he rolled back over and said "night night." It was so funny! He knew he wanted to stay in his bed and sleep haha. He is such a sweet, fun little boy. We adore him! He cracks us up on a daily basis. Other things....He makes about 7 or 8 animal noises, calls his wee wee "dadda", picks up trash and makes a funny sound in his throat to tell me that it's trash or yucky, he crows back at the roosters across the street, he goes crazy for airplanes and stops and looks at every single one, he says HI to everyone that walks by our house or anyone new that shows up at the park, he still LOVES his night time bottle and calls it "bobble-night night", he runs like the wind everywhere he goes. I might have to add more things as I think of them. I don't want to forget this adorable little boy and all the silly things he does!
