38 Week OB Appointment

Blahhh. Not much new....still 1 cm but now I am about 60% effaced so that's cool I suppose. No more glucose or protein so yay for that! We will be scheduling an induction as long as things are on track and looking good :) Which at this point they are looking great for an induction! We won't schedule until the 10th but the induction will be anywhere between the 11th and the 14th. I am so stinkin' ready. I just want to check out of life until he gets here. I don't want to do a darn thing, nothing. No cleaning, cooking, grocery shopping, NOTHING. I forget how daunting the last few weeks are :/ Ugh. I am also depressed because I have good old Group B strep :( It's not a big deal but it just seems like the hits keep on coming with this pregnancy!! I am also having an itching problem (probably PUPPS syndrome the doc said) so my arms are covered in blood and scabs where I have scratched continuously. I didn't mention this from my last appointment but my belly button has a hernia, nice huh? I am up 29 lbs thus far which is fine, I don't even care about the weight part anymore :) I don't want to hear one more weird thing about this pregnancy! I also want an easy labor and delivery, that's all I ask! I know it's obvious that I am feeling kind of low so I am hoping to do something to get happy soon. Don't know what, but I need something....

I think Kason is taking Griff camping this weekend so at least I can sit here alone and wallow while I eat crap and watch chick flicks. A little nervous about sending my babe off with his Daddy without his Mommy! He needs me!

I'm still 8 weeks away from 36 weeks but I already asked my doc when the soonest is I could be induced. He said 39 weeks unless there is a medical problem. BLAH. I want this baby out at 36 weeks! HAHA... I am also terrified if I go too long he's going to grown into a giant 10 lb baby. And that scares the shizzzzzzz out of me.

Hang in there! It definately sucks for the last few weeks. I had Group B with Bryton. Turned out to be no biggie- just some antibiotics during labor. Good luck!
