Good Eats

Tried something new and I LOVED it. It's called Bountiful Baskets. Heard about it from my Mom and a friend of mine, thanks guy's :) Basically you get online and order your fruit and produce (among other things). First you order your baskets then click on the location closest to your home and then you get an email and confirmation number when it's ready. When you get to your chosen location there are about 50 small laundry baskets full of fresh produce from local farmers and some from elsewhere. You find out what your number is and then you grab the stuff out of 2 laundry baskets. The stuff is super fresh! Better than the grocery store and way cheaper! You get $50 dollars worth of fruit and produce for around $16. I got all kinds of really yummy stuff! I washed and cut everything up so that it would be ready to eat or cook. Everything has been so yummy so far! You get a different variety of stuff every time depending on what's in season, etc. Hope this made some sense! Don't know why it's so hard to explain. Lol.

Looks so yummy! I am signing up, what a fun thing to do. The produce from the store goes bad so fast, I am hoping because this is more fresh it will last longer. Thanks for the great idea!

It does sound yummy... maybe it would help me cook more vegetables! I really need to start finding ways for my 2 boys to eat more healthy.
