buying a road bike and being a cyclist has been a long time dream of mine.
i have always wanted to get into this sport (for pleasure and a good work out!) and eventually race perhaps (?)
every year in october, i book it to the end of my block (like 20 steps from my casa. love it) to watch the men's cycling event in the senior games.
i sit there and watch in awe. thinking: if these old men can do it, why can't i?
been toying with the idea for a little while now. been talking to various people that i know who have road bikes and ride daily.
even marched down to the local bike shop and got sized. they told me they could build one up to fit me perfectly. i was dying.
i wanted to tell them to go ahead and build me a bike and that i was sold.
getting into cycling will end up costing me a pretty penny if i do it the right way. the better the bike, the more comfortable i will be. also, a better bike means less fatigue from the vibrations.
been thinking maybe i should just buy a good mountain bike and a bike trailer for my kids to tag along. for now.
then when i have more time (when i am a stay at home mom. might be a reality soon!) i can dedicate myself to the sport. and of course get myself a sweet little bike.
decisions. decisions.

Do it Hools! I think that'd be bomb! If I didn't have a bad back and a million other issues I'd totally do it too! It's so beautiful thee too you'd be loving it!
