maggie's room

been planning a girl room in my head for quite some time

totally silly

i decided i wanted a girly room but not too super girly

wanted to add some funky colors like orange in the mix

i have had my heart set on the picture below (for a couple of years!) so i decided to base maggie's room around it

so i got it framed and started from there!

i'm still undecided on the top of her armoire/tall dresser

for now i put some cute flowers my sister in law made (from chi chi's blessing that i have yet to blog about) and i spray painted an old frame i had lying around

this is an old shelf i bought at a garage sale YEARS ago for a dollar, the piggy bank and tiny picture frame came from tai pan, the flower thing is something i have had forever that i spray painted to match

this is a project that i have wanted to do for a long time but i had to wait for a girl to come along to do it, so yay!

*thinking i will add a couple more

i had this bed made for me by someone and the comforter came from overstock

and here's chi chi, enjoying it!
