new year's

my christmas day post will have to wait!

my computer is ancient and can't handle the huge files from my camera

sooooo all of my favorite christmas pics are stuck on my camera for now

new year's, new year's......

i have a love hate relationship with this holiday

i am not a huge goal setter and sometimes i don't like ringing in a new year because i feel like life is flying by way too fast

if i listed my resolutions here it would take up several pages of my blog, i have SO many things that i would like to change/be better at

my goals this year will focus on health (one thing at a time right??)

all of the other stuff will fall into place

it's hard to set any goals being a busy mom of three and not having a husband around much

my plan is to purchase (very soon!) the nice blender i have been wanting and start my family on smoothies

i have always made smoothies but with a nicer blender i can blend much more stuff (like nuts, etc)

i want to make a complete lifestyle change to more whole/raw foods

it will take some time, i know

but i feel like the blender will get the party started

i also want/need my kids to "eat" more healthful and important foods and what better way than in a smoothie??

so here's to the new year!!

and to a healthier little family!

we also got a wii/wii fit for christmas and we have been playing with that like crazy!

i've been doing the fit + zumba and we have been playing a ton of wii sports together, super fun!

we love being active so i figure the wii will keep us busy when it finally turns cold here
