Fresh Christmas Tree (bush, really)

This year Last year

We have made it a tradition to cut down our own Christmas tree every year and it is so much fun! Our first year was when we were newly married, the second year Griff was a tiny baby and now he is a big one year old so he enjoyed it thoroughly! We packed into Darren and Mel's SUV with their two kids and drove out to Pine Valley in search of our tree. We stopped at a gas station that happened to be giving out free popcorn, hotdogs and candy bars so we stocked up for the ride haha. When we got to Pine Valley Kason and I jumped out with Griff and tried to find our tree as fast as we could. It was freezing out there! I can't complain though because last year there was 2 feet of snow and Kason had to do everything while I sat in the car with newborn Griff. So, we found our tree pretty quick and headed home. It is a tree that looks a lot like a huge bush, oh well! We love the tradition and the yummy pine smell.

That is so fun, someday maybe we can get a real tree when we have more room. I love the picture from last year... such a cute little bundle!

Looks fun, Steve always tries to get me to do that, but I just like to drive down to the store and buy one. I am lazy like that.
