So the moment I had been waiting for came today. Griff fell and smacked his head for the millionth time on our coffee table. Only this fall drew some blood. He fell and then cried and I looked at his face to see blood streaming down from a gash on his eyebrow. He only cried for a minute and we held a wet washcloth on his boo boo to get it to stop bleeding. It stopped gushing but continued to bleed for a few hours, very slowly though..I am not that crazy! If it was still gushing we would have been in the ER ASAP. So I kept an eye on him and realized that it would just keep oozing if I didn't go do something about it. It was also a pretty wide gash so I was preparing myself that my baby might need to get some stitches. Dr Barton squeezed us in and said that he needed stitches, I about died! I was hoping they could do some kind of fancy bandaid or something. I was very hesitant about my kid being poked and numbed and then sewn up, no thank you! I had a meltdown at his circumcision so there was no way I was going to stick around for needles and stitches. I asked the doctor if there were any other options and he said stitches would help it heal best and scar less. He then told me about Derma Bond which is like super glue for skin and I said, YES please! So, he got his little eyebrow gash to come together and stop bleeding with some glue. Thank heavens! Of course this ordeal was worse for me than Griff. He is just fine! This is just his first big boo boo of many, I am sure :)

Thanks Ang :) You are sweet! No, I am over it. I am starting to get a little scared and selfish. I am loving my body right now and running, etc. We are trying the "not trying" approach ;)

POOR GUY!!! I'm so surprised Krew hasn't had anything like this happen yet. I know I'm going to freak when it does!!
I'm so glad he didn't have to get stitches.
And I agree with everyone that you look pretty! What a cute mom you are.
