Mother's Day!

It was a super nice Mother's Day for me today and a great Mother's Day weekend in general :) Griff and I went and met Kason at Bryce Canyon on Friday and had a fun filled weekend of eating, hanging out and 4 wheeling. Grandma, Grandpa, Maddy and Klint also came along. We all had so much fun! It was gorgeous scenery and weather so we are all ready to plan our next trip there. It is close to home and such a nice getaway, we will for sure go again! Of course Griff obsessed about the 4 wheelers the entire time we were there. The kid LOVES to ride. Everyone took turns taking Griff on rides all over Bryce. We also went on one long ride while we were there. Griff loved it and even slept some of the way.

Today we went over to the in-laws and had yummy salads and just hung out together. A few of Griff's highlights were: opening the back gate that leads into a pasture, crawling under a "shock fence" and running toward the cows and horses in the field, he also climbed halfway up a chain link fence in Grammy and Grampy's yard. I sooooo have my hands full with this kiddo. He is SO good, such a good talker, listener..you name it. BUT he is so busy and such a handful in that way. I am terrified (and excited!) to have another wild, busy boy :) The rest of the day was pretty nice. We went to church where Griff made me the cutest flower in a pot and he also colored me some pictures and brought me a bottle of lotion from nursery. I LOVED it :) After church Kason made me go take a nap while he cleaned the house, nice. He also cooked me breakfast this morning which of course, I loved. My Mother's day gift was a sweet phone that I have been eye-balling for a while so I am a happy Mommy today!
