I love this window and I love staring out at the big vintage house across the street. I think it's gorgeous and the inside is even yummier than the outside.
This house is so beautiful to me that I don't even notice the Ronald McDonald standing on the porch wearing a sport coat.
I love old homes. I love our old school neighborhood that is filled with them. Some are wretchedly ugly but some are just so gorgeous and quaint. I love my "vintage" 1950's home. It's not the cutest there ever was but I still adore it. My favorite part?
This hallway.
I love that it's wide and I love the old wood floor. Griff and I have had many good times in this hallway. Learning to crawl, using the walker, learning to walk, racing cars, bouncing balls, rolling balls...you name it. So fun.

You have a beautiful home! I remember what it looked like as a bachelor pad- you have a magic touch:) We always feel so comfortable there. I have a funny story that happened to me in that hallway- tell you sometime- but not in a comment! Oh, come to Zumba at the washington rec center with me next week:)
Funny that the FIRST thing I noticed about the house across the street was the Ronald McDonald!
i love that house too! many memories there :) i'm so glad you guys aren't moving!
your house looks cute! how did painting go?? i too love it when all is quiet in the house.
LOVE the window. My old house in salt lake had windows like this in my living room, kitchen, and master bedroom.
My new house. Not so. :( It is so dark. We have a big porch on the front that shades all the sun. The back has a ginormous screened porch on it that takes all the sun too. First thing on our list is to cute HUGE holes in the kitchen and dining room ceilings to make big nice sky lights. I wish we could do it tomorrow. :( Won't be happening for a while. :(
Yeah, pretty much jealous! :)
I think your home is darling.
