oh Nolan

i love this whiny little boy. so much.

he really is whiny though.

and he still (even at 18 months) wakes me up every single night of the week. without fail.

i have come to terms with it. i have exhausted all measures besides letting him cry for hours. which he has no problem doing.

my house is too small to lay in my bed and listen to him scream and not go completely insane.

other than the whining and ridiculous night time antics, nolan is the sweetest thing ever.

some priceless moments with no-no:

eating pecans off the tree in our back yard.


this little boy and i sat outside for a half an hour the other day, our bums planted on some bricks and ate tons of yummy pecans.

he kept bringing them to me and saying: nut.

he came into my bathroom the other day while i was rushing to get ready for work and kept trying to get my attention. i ignored him for a bit and then finally looked down at him to see him pointing at his ears. he had stuffed a cocoa puff in each ear and he thought it was pretty darn cool.


this boy loves his showers. he savors them. he either sits and lets the water hit his body or he lays down on the floor of the shower and soaks it all up.

i love this little child so much.
