Nascar and Appointment

Yes, I went to Nascar. It was crazy and every bit the hillbilly fest I thought it would be! We had so much fun though :) Kason and I enjoyed ourselves and relaxed in our nice little hotel room most of the time. We ate good food, shopped, went to Nascar Saturday and Sunday( Nicole joined us too!), got some yummy room service and just hung out! It was so nice to get away even if it was for one night. I have the hardest time leaving Griff so one night is plenty for me! Not sure when I will ever be able to leave him for longer, I am so ridiculous! But he had a great time at Grandma and Grandpa's so that makes me happy. Friday we had a baby appointment and heartbeat check. I guess with all my issues I expected to maybe not hear the heartbeat. Sounds terrible of me to think that but at this point I am ready for anything! So, we found the heartbeat and it was 165 bpm. Right away the doctor said, that's a girl heartbeat! Haha. I am sure all that is a myth BUT Griff's was lower than that at 11 weeks so who knows! I don't believe in wives tales but it's still fun to wonder. I will be wondering all the way to September, gahhh. Oh well, it's well worth it!
