Griffin

**allowing Nolan to watch a video with him**

**slip n slide with Nolan**

**my house looks like this daily, compliments of Griff**

I swear it seems like I only post about No. He is darn cute and there are so many things to talk about that pertain to him but I really need to dedicate a post solely to Griff!

So here it is....

First off, I can't believe that in a few months Griffin will be three. What the heck! That is insane. He is such a fun and easy going kid. So easy. He understands things so well and he is simple to reason with. He is a very level headed kid.

Super smart too. He might not always be this smart but for now, he amazes us. He says huge words and uses them correctly. Say's things like "I am an important guy, Mom." and "Your not paying attention, Mom." Really Griff? Where does he get this stuff! He wrote some "letters" on his arms today with markers (while I wasn't watching, ha) and he told me that his letters "are his life". No idea what that meant but it cracked me up to hear him talk about his "life".

He loves Nolan, I know he does. His cute little eye's twinkle when he first lays eye's on him in the morning. The twinkle fades away quickly as the day goes on though. Haha. Nolan is always all up in Griff's business trying to play with his toys, and getting into his room and toy closet constantly. Griff does not love sharing his stuff and his room is a very private place for him. He is always shutting his bedroom door to keep No out. Tells me constantly, "Get Nolan, Mom. Get him." But he also never fails to call his brother his best friend.

Gone are the days when Griffin used to watch cute little shows like Oswald and Blues Clues. He now likes Dora and Team UmiZoomi. He has also sat through Toy Story 3 twice. He is growing up! I don't love that he even watches TV but summer has been so long and hot. We need a little relaxing TV break every once and while. He is also enjoying craft and school time. We do a little version of "school" and then we do a little craft. I went to the dollar store and loaded up on some crafty stuff that I knew he would enjoy. We practice letter writing with our Kumon ABC cards. Which I love by the way. Have a 2 year old? Grab you some! They also make for a good church activity. Nice and quiet!

Griff is the light of my little life! He is so sweet and loving. I love that he loves cuddling in bed with us. He joins us a few nights a week. He comes walking in in the middle of the night (not really ever sure why but sometimes he needs to go potty) with his 2 blankets, throws them up on our bed and climbs in. Kason and I love it. That is until No decides to join us. Ha. Then we have a full house and it gets kind of squishy! Regardless though, we love the night time cuddles from both of them. Someday there will be no toddlers or babies coming in and we will both miss it so much.

Griff you are such a sweet boy. We are so glad that you came to us and made us parents. We love you so very much!
