yardwork with benefits

Our cute little elderly neighbors (Thelma and Archie) skip town every summer to head somewhere much cooler. We miss them while they are gone, they are so sweet!

Every summer we tend to their yard and they send us a little check every month. We have told them a million times not to bother but they always do it anyway. Can't complain though.

Their yard is very difficult to maintain but she plants an amazing garden and we reap all of the benefits! This time around she left us peaches, tomatoes, apricots, peas and some amazing grapes.

The grapes and apricots are an every summer thing but she seems to plant something new every year and we love it! How cute that she plants a whole garden and then leaves when things are ripening. She must just thoroughly enjoy gardening! Again, can't complain.

It has been raining here in St G so the boy's and I got to work in their yard on Saturday morning because it was so cool out. Griffin and I really enjoyed pulling weeds and cleaning up. He is such a hard worker, totally reminds me of his hard working Daddy.
