conference weekend

i LOVE conference weekend. not only do i love conference but i really like not having church. eeek, i said it. now don't get me wrong, i love church :) but i don't love church with kids. i hate being there and asking myself why we even bother. i know, i know. it's the fact that we are there and making an effort, that's what counts right? i know it also gets the kids into the habit. so that's a good thing.

had family pictures this morning. i know, naughty. it was a complete disaster i might add. not sure if we got even ONE good shot but let's hope! our photographer was/is amazing but the boy's? uh no. they weren't having one ounce of it. total nightmare. not sure if we will ever do family pics again. ha.

watched saturday's session last night and loved it. was a little bitter about watching today's session with 2 busy boy's running all around. lo and behold they BOTH napped. that is a rare occurrence in our house. nolan "usually" naps but Griff? nope! picture to document this glorious day.


pretty much watched conference by myself because my other boy napped too.



not sure what will become of the second session. may not watch til tonight but that's okay with me :)

on to other sunday/churchy type stuff. finally got released from my calling. a little sad about it, not gonna lie. even more sad that i am pretty sure i am getting a new calling asap. also pretty darn sure i will be teaching temple prep along side my cute hubby! okay i am not "sad" about my probable calling but bummed that i won't have a tiny break between callings. oh well, such is life! i really am okay with it though :) should be interesting. i can teach kiddos but adults? gulp.
