::sickies::

in the past month i have spent hundreds (no joke) of dollars on dr.'s visits, over the counter meds and prescriptions (meds for the boy's, asthma meds for kase, pregnancy meds for me..you name it)

since christmas we have had the stomach flu (griff, nolan and i)

bad colds

croup and whooping cough

*i must add that the on-call doc who diagnosed the boy's was super strange and didn't test them at all for these 2 things. so who knows if this is really what they have. i looked up whooping cough and griff displays some of the symptoms but not all. and nolan's cough does sound like a barky/seal cough (croup). i basically went in there and said, i think he has croup and he was like, yep. probably. interesting! nolan only coughs a handful of times a day. it's so weird. but when he does, it's creepy! griff's cough is totally different. super weird!


for some ODD reason, kason has stayed healthy through all of this

i haven't had the flu (or been sick at all) since i was 29 weeks pregnant with nolan

we have never experienced the pukes with the kids before, so that was a fun new one for us

it was SUPER fun cleaning up puke with my pregnant sense of smell, sweet!

the last time we have had sickies in our home was when nolan was born and a few of us passed around H1N1

kason had it FOR sure but i am not positive nolan did

or he had a super mild case compared to his daddy's

so as of right now kason is healthy, griff has whooping cough (which has involved more puking) and nolan has croup

oh and i have another nasty cold (i just had one over christmas!)

so needless to say, we haven't had sickness in our home for a while

BUT we are being hit with all kinds of stuff all at once

blah

i have barely had time to think about the little baby in my tummy but all seems to be well and i am feeling little tiny flutters or something going on in there

here's to hoping we can get well around here

crossing my fingers and praying kason doesn't get anything

i don't think i could handle it. period.
